This 2 day workshop is the SAICA-recognised session to enable a participant to qualify as a Registered Assessor for SAICA assessment purposes. This session is presented only on an in-house basis and is costed as the same rates that NSOA charge SAICA for this course. Participants will need to complete a Portfolio of Evidence (POE) after the course which will then need to be submitted for assessment. NSOA has been working with SAICA since 2005 in the development and facilitation of these sessions and our facilitators bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the training intervention which will leave delegates with a solid grasp of the requirements for assessment. NSOA has recently been re-appointed by SAICA to continue to develop and facilitate assessor training for them through to December 2028.
This is a two-day course. The cost in 2026 for this training is R48 000 (2025 – R 46 000) for the course and there is a limit of 25 delegates on each course. In addition to this fixed fee for the 2 day presentation, there is a further fee of R2 600 (2025 – R2 500) per delegate for the assessment of their POE. These costs are exclusive of VAT.

Over a one-day session, we address the SAICA Induction requirements directly. Trainees are taken through their training contracts, their responsibilities in the workplace, the SAICA Training Programme, and the SAICA assessment process (including the assessment instruments).
The Induction course will always cover the brand new Training Regulations which become effective from 1 January that year and will incorporate the CA 2025 Training programme and it’s assessment process (we do recommend that trainees also attend the ART 2 session which focuses on the assessment process in more detail).
In our opinion, the training contract is the learning opportunity of a lifetime and we try hard to get trainees to recognise this. As such, we place a huge emphasis on getting trainees to not only understand what their training contracts will involve but also that they fully buy into the process.
The cost of this one-day on-line intervention is R1 300 in 2026 per participant (was R1 250 in 2025), excluding VAT.
